Vacation like a king!

One day, Walt Disney was sad. His whole theme park was overbooked due to summer vacation. He just wanted people to be able to have fun. Then he thought of a great idea: make a new theme park! But there was no space for a second Disney World.  Then he thought of a bold idea: to build it on another planet! He would need the equipment, He would need soil...  He would need people. Where would he get that?

After a while, he finally got the funding to go to Mars and build a theme park so he headed to Mars. When he landed on Mars, he didn't waste time. He first started with building a dome, called the Resource Dome. That was where the supplies for Galaxia-Diversión were kept. Then he built a tunnel, connecting to a second dome. That dome was called the Theme Park Dome. There was another tunnel, connecting to a third Dome. The third dome was called the Hotel Dome. This dome was for visitors. The domes were placed into a triangular pattern, with a tunnel connecting from one dome to another. Walt Disney was happy, and satisfied about his work. Of course though, he had help. Now he had to get people to the theme park, and how would he do that?

Walt Disney went back to Earth to try and spread the word of the new park. He printed some flyers to put them around town. He put a commercial on television too. People did not believe him, until one little gir Sally Smith, wanted to go back with him. She was about 9 years old and her parents did not really care what she did, as long as it was safe. The parents decided to go also, just to make sure (and maybe take a few pictures!) it was safe for Sally. Walt showed the family to the spacecraft to take them to the theme park on Mars. Sally eagerly got onto the ship and demanded to leave as soon as possible. She was so excited, and that was exactly what Mr. Disney needed to see. The family was already at Disney World in Florida, so they had luggage and such.

They arrived at the domes and unpacked their luggage. They were amazed at what they saw. The family got a full tour of the colony and then rode some rides in the Theme Park Dome. Then Sally said “This is the best place in the Galaxy!”. She asked Walt Disney what the Spanish words for galaxy fun were. “Galaxia-Diversión!” Walt Disney replied. “That’s a good name for the colony!” said Sally. “I never really thought of a good name I guess” said Walt Disney. “I just wanted people to have fun!” The family stayed for a while but they noticed something was wrong. It had no people. “Let's go tell some other people about this amazing colony!” said Lilith.

They headed back to earth to tell more people. It was a big success!  Now everybody wanted to go too! So they started building Space Shuttles And Teleporters for people to go on, to get to the theme park.  The colony on Mars was a big hit all over the world, and Walt thought it might be a good idea to put a restriction on the amount of people coming this time! Only 4,000 visitors and 1,900 workers (Plus Walt) would be able to come to the colony. There was not enough space for more! That is how Galaxia-Diversión came to be.
